Peter Devine hails from Drogheda and has had a passion for music since his childhood. A scholarship to the prestigious St Finian’s College, Mullingar saw Peter study Church Organ.

After secondary school Peter completed a B.Mus. in UCD under the tutelage of Prof Gillen. He followed this with a H.Dip. in Education and a Dip. in Business Studies. When he eventually left the world of third level education he followed his passion for jazz and specialised in playing and teaching jazz piano.

Peter has a very mellow and relaxed style that suits which immediately puts the listener at their ease. He performs with a selection of other jazz performers to form jazz trios, quartets or with jazz crooners/singers to create a mellow jazz club atmosphere.
